We can be extremely proud of what Gigginstown has done for Irish racing

Aintree was the focus of attention for the Irish point-to-point world last week and things could hardly have gone much better, even though it was a Flat-bred former juvenile hurdler Tiger Roll who captured the big headlines for Gordon Elliott and Gigginstown in the Grand National.

Anyone involved in point-to-pointing will be delighted for Eddie and Michael O'Leary, who have been supporters of the game since the David Wachman-trained Tuco got them going.

Funnily enough it was Davy Russell who won a maiden at Tallow on him and a couple of months later Mark Grant rode him to win the Goffs Land Rover Bumper, beating a field which included Beef Or Salmon.
