Tom Dreaper saddles first winner to follow in footsteps of his famous forebears
Tom Dreaper became the latest member of his famous family to saddle a winner when Sizing Diamond returned victorious in the Necarne finale.
The Dreaper name is synonymous with jump racing in Ireland, with his grandfather and namesake responsible for producing some of the most prolific performers within the sport throughout much of the 20th century, having sent out 26 winners at the Cheltenham Festival, including five victories in the Gold Cup and six in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, a record that is yet to be surpassed.
