Fenton makes ambitious move
Classic-winning jockey Micky Fenton has gone full circle and returned to Newmarket to start training, just a few furlongs from where he tasted 1,000 Guineas success on Speciosa on the Rowley Mile nearly 20 years ago.
The 53-year-old is renting a barn from Jon Scargill at Red House Stables on the Hamilton Road and is keen to get his training career back on track after first setting up in his native Ireland in 2022.
