OURMANMASSINI, leading point-to-pointer last season, landed his first win since then in the ITM Series Ladies Open.

Behind the leaders throughout, the Donal Finnan-owned gelding was pressed strongly by Grade 1 winner Gilgamboa on the run-in but managed to hold on by a head to give Jody Townend her first winner this season.

Trainer Peter Flood said: “I’m delighted to have got him right after his fall at Tinahely. It really knocked his confidence and he was proper sore after it.
