Relishing a special moment in helping Longhouse Music to share of the title
What an exciting weekend to bring a long and busy season to a fitting end. Kruzhlinin and Longhouse Music provided the highlights. All of us participants, whether riders, handlers or loyal and supportive owners, do our best to provide entertainment for followers of the sport but in the end it’s the horses who are the real stars of the show.
The joint-champions have thrilled the crowds in a fabulous title-battle, fought out to the end, with both horses pushed to the maximum in endurance as well as ability to achieve 13 wins each.
It was one of the thrills of the season for me when Longhouse Music threw down a final challenge by winning the mares’ open at Kinsale on Sunday.
