Graduates of Irish pointing were front and centre across the festive racing in Britain and Ireland with an impressive haul of 21 winners on St Stephen’s Day alone.

That set the tone for the rest of Christmas and continued to New Year’s Day, which produced 15 successes and brought the winning tally across the seven days to 81.

Within that haul were five Grade 1 victories headlined by the 17-length success in the Christmas Hurdle of Constitution Hill, which brought his Grade 1 score to four. His second in a Tipperary point-to-point remains his only defeat.
