Power Of Pause (94+) created a big impression in what appeared to be an ultra-competitive race, which saw his travelling strongly throughout, before producing a potent turn of foot to quicken clear in a matter of strides.

Rainbow Chaser (89+) took advantage of the slow final-fence jump from newcomer Brief Ambition (85+) to put his experience to good use and run out a game winner.
