Six weeks after giving birth to daughter Alex, Liz Lalor made a winning return to the saddle on her first ride back.

She landed the Connollys Red Mills ladies open on Cloudy Morning, the Tipperary jockey's 100th success between the flags.

Trained by the in-form and title-chasing Declan Queally and owned by Michael O’Donovan, the eight-time winning gelding displayed his usual game attitude to come home two lengths clear of the favourite BL Swagger.
