Anseanachai Cliste (92++) did not win in the manner expected of an odds-on favourite. However, he tends to post better performances against stronger opposition and he can be expected to step up from this reappearance run.

Western Honour (90+) had to be kept up to his work to fend off his fast-finishing stablemate in an eyecatching debut performance. A slightly lesser test of stamina will see him develop into a smart sort.
