He looks like the perfect type for the Irish Grand National - and his 12-1 odds could easily shorten

The standard of racing has, understandably, dipped slightly after Cheltenham and the weekend’s racing had little impact on ante-post markets. However, it is interesting to note the yards which remain among the winners as there is still plenty of life left in the jumps season.
Fergal O'Brien had a super Saturday, with doubles at Kelso and Newbury. That heightens interest in Dysart Enos this spring wherever she goes next – possibly the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr.
Lucinda Russell goes from strength to strength. Fresh from festival success with Myretown, she has been in red-hot form. Aintree looms, a meeting where she has had tremendous success, and it will be interesting to see what she sends there.
