Nick Watts assesses the week's big-race action and the key market moves

It's a shame it rained so much at the end of last week and we were unable to find out whether Publish could be the next Field Of Gold. The Solario did still provide a thrilling finish, although whether it means a lot when looking to the future is debatable.
The winner, A Bit Of Spirit, prevailed in a four-way blanket finish and is now 10-1 for the Royal Lodge on September 27. But his win also served to highlight the abilities of Morris Dancer, who beat him by four lengths in a Listed race at Salisbury recently.
Morris Dancer is 7-1 for the same race and he has come a long way since finishing a 25-1 seventh on his debut at Newbury in May, ironically behind Humidity, who was just nosed out of a Solario victory on Saturday.
