Emotional win for War Call was the weekend highlight of my four winners

It was good to be among the winners at the weekend and there was a nice bit of variety involved.

Of the four winners I rode, two were promising newcomers, a four-year-old and a five-year-old, another was a lovely consistent mare in an open race, and then there was War Call, a six-year-old maiden with track experience.

War Call's win at Lisronagh gave me a lot of pleasure, although like everyone else involved with the horse, the occasion was mixed with sadness.
