Rewritetherules hinted another productive campaign awaits when coming home in front under a confident Tom Hamilton in the open.

Last season’s dual hunter chase winner was restrained early on and, having edged closer setting out on the final circuit, eased past before the last to beat Wounded Warrior by three and a half lengths.

"He's a lot stronger this season but I thought the ground wouldn't be good enough for him here today," said trainer Shark Hanlon.
