Adieulevieux Enki says farewell to rivals with a finishing flourish

The recent Scottish Grand National-winning rider Rob James may have drawn a blank from his five rides at Monksgrange, but he was among the winners at Fairyhouse the same afternoon when he trained his seventh winner of the season thanks to Adieulevieux Enki.
Out of a half-sister to the ten-time Grade 1 winner Big Buck’s, the Montmartre gelding had been bought by the Tomona native for €22,000 last summer and the French-bred left a non-completion at Lisronagh on his debut behind him to defeat Porthill by four and a half lengths in a chaotic Goffs Punchestown Sale four-year-old geldings’ maiden as six of the 12 starters fell.
