A conditional rider whose claim 'looks a gift' and two stables primed for bright futures - key takeaways from our team on track this weekend
Here is what our team of reporters learned while out on the course on Saturday

Following a fantastically soggy afternoon of jumps action on Saturday, our reporters picked out the main item of interest they took away from the track.
Tizzard stable looks well stocked
Lewis Porteous, Racing Post reporter at Ascot
Considering he saddled a Grade 1 winner last year, it would be unfair to say Joe Tizzard is enjoying a resurgence this autumn, but there is no doubt his stable is well stocked for the future.
Tizzard has saddled 17 winners in November and, less than a week after Alexei's romp in the Greatwood Hurdle, the former jockey enjoyed two winners apiece on Friday and Saturday at Ascot.

Most exciting is the number of young horses coming through the ranks and, according to the man in charge, "the yard is full of them" right now.
That was certainly evident at Ascot, with promising successes for novice hurdlers Etna Bianco and Kripticjim, while The Walk made a winning debut in the bumper on Friday.
Traditionally, the Tizzard horses have improved for going chasing, so the fact that so many of the stable's youngsters are winning before they have seen a fence surely bodes well for the coming seasons.
Skelton increasingly amassing more talent
Lee Mottershead, Racing Post reporter at Haydock
At times during his extraordinarily successful November, Dan Skelton has been asked if he has changed anything this season. Saturday at Haydock provided a reminder that, regardless of anything Skelton has changed, things have undoubtedly changed for Skelton.
Britain's leading trainer spent Monday in Deauville, where he watched Anthony Bromley sign for two horses whose combined cost was €1.23 million. The youngsters will race in the colours of billionaire owners Lindy and Mark O'Hare. Skelton will be their trainer.

Skelton recently sent out his first runner for Johnny and Samantha de la Hey. They previously had horses only with Paul Nicholls, the former trainer of the Neil and Alfie Smith-owned Kabral Du Mathan, who hosed up in Haydock's 2m4f handicap hurdle. The Stayers' Hurdle is now his target at Cheltenham, where Grey Dawning will head to the Gold Cup following his Betfair Chase romp.
With big new owners come big new horses. Skelton is increasingly amassing both. From one week to the next, his chance of becoming champion trainer looks ever more realistic.
McCain-Mitchell's claim looks a gift
Andrew Dietz, Racing Post reporter at Haydock
Toby McCain-Mitchell came to Haydock as a youngster with his grandfather Ginger McCain, so riding his first winner at the course where Red Rum prepped for his heroics down the road at Aintree was always going to be special.
To do it on the track's biggest jumps card against some of the weighing room's finest with a perfectly judged ride on 3m1½f handicap chase winner Top Of The Bill (18-1) made it even more memorable.

McCain-Mitchell comes from the right stock and the move to the yard of Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies has put his career on an upward trajectory.
With four victories from his last nine rides and 15 this campaign, the 24-year-old is in fine form and his 5lb claim looks a gift.
