Did you see the Apple worldwide conference the other day? Actually, 'conference' is a bit weak – it's more a cross between a Trump rally and a compilation of Cillit Bang ads.

It's always weird to see crazed disciples cheer overhyped products. Occasionally it's understandable, like when they launched the iPhone, but juiced-up announcements of improvements to Siri and dark mode for iOS and suchlike are daft. It's like a global convention to unveil some new shades of sock colour.

Still, over in the Google Play Store, the wild west of digital enhancement, there's usually something novel, albeit sometimes downright dangerous or just useless.
