The soft ground took a bit of an early toll on these juveniles despite them having the best of the ground to race on, but this filly still showed some definite promise.

It was a race not many got into, this filly more than most after a slow start. She started to make some headway before they turned for home, modest though it was, but from more than a furlong out she picked up considerably better and came home as well as anything.
