The tune of 1972 hit single Crazy Horses by The Osmonds has been stuck in my head for a while. I was born in the 70s, so maybe my mum was playing it a lot during her pregnancy and it got lodged in my brain early doors. I love revising the Crazy Horses lyrics to show support for sportsmen I have backed. If you have a wager on someone with a four-syllable name, this wonderful option is there for you.

As Poom Saksansin was making merry in the Indonesian Masters last week, I turned to my daughter, got right in her face and screamed: “Oh, let me hear you say, Poom Saksansin, aarh-aaaarh, aarh-aaaarh!”
