PBS looks to expand betting terminals into racecourse market

The team at Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) is hoping to expand its self-service betting terminals (SSBT) further into the UK racecourse market after trialling them at Chester this month.

John Pettit, PBS's managing director for UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia, believes they can open up a new revenue stream for racecourses.

Racegoers had the chance to use the SSBTs under the Chester Sport brand at the May festival, PBS having already successfully exhibited them at Chester's sister track Bangor in April.
