This was always going to be a big year for Harry Fry. Not your typical youngster, the strapping six footer had it all mapped out long ago – a career master plan if you like.

Top of the list, no doubt written in capitals, was to start training at 30. Well here we are, his twenties a thing of the past, and he is sitting comfortably at the controls of Harry Fry Racing.

A job well done, you could say, although the plan has been fast-tracked somewhat. So much so that 2017 marks the fifth anniversary for one of Britain’s most prolific stables.
