No signs of growth stopping at GVC

GVC Holdings continues to barrel along, with the company achieving its highest rate of growth since it acquired bwin.party in 2016 according to a trading update issued last week.

The operator, which also owns the Sportingbet brand among others, reported group daily net gaming revenue (NGR) for the third quarter of 2017 was up ten per cent on the same period last year.

GVC, who have been linked to deals involving Ladbrokes Coral and William Hill in recent months, said that was "particularly pleasing" as the corresponding period in 2016 was boosted by the final stages of the Euro 2016 football tournament. Underlying NGR increased 18 per cent.
