Michael Bell, Michael Halford and Stuart Williams reflect on the weekend action
Tattersalls' Jason Singh and bet365's Pat Cooney also join the panel
Which horse has the greatest chance of beating Enable this season and why?
Michael Bell, trainer It's going to be a tough task for any of the horses with proven form at that level, so you need to look for a dark horse and a three-year-old who could rise to the top of that pile is Japan. He was very impressive at Royal Ascot and you could see him improving to get a rating in the high 120s, which he’d need to lower her colours.
Pat Cooney, bet365 odds compiler I'm beginning to think there isn’t one. I do find it amazing that she has won at 11 different tracks in her career. Perhaps either Japan or Sottsass in the Arc may get close, as they may well be the best three-year-old colts around, but I doubt it. Just enjoy her while we can, she’s certainly lit up what has been a lacklustre Flat season, Blue Point apart.
Michael Halford, trainer I can't think of an obvious threat. If she stays fit and well and avoids any bad luck in running, I'd expect her to continue to dominate. She's exceptional and was very good in the Eclipse considering she'd been off the track for a long time. You’d expect the run to bring her on and that will make things very difficult for those trying to lower her colours.
