Kindred Group confident it can 'emerge stronger' after coronavirus crisis

The parent company of Unibet and 32Red last week said it was confident it would "emerge stronger" from the crisis facing the sector caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

Kindred Group chief executive Henrik Tjarnstrom was speaking as the company unveiled a trading update for the first quarter of 2020.

Gross winnings revenue for the period was up 11 per cent at £249.7 million, while underlying ebitda (earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation) was £42.5m compared to £31.1m in 2019.
