Crystal Ocean heads the World’s Best Racehorse Rankings. Is that fair?
Ted Durcan, former jockey There is very little to split Crystal Ocean and Enable. The pair are simply world-class horses and it will be a race to savour when they clash at Ascot later in the month. Enable is going to be a hard nut to crack but I’ve won on Crystal Ocean and my heart says he will win.
Tom Marquand, jockey He obviously deserves to be very high up on the list, but Enable should be topping it. To come back and win the Coral-Eclipse on her reappearance in that manner should surely be worthy to top it.
Joseph O'Brien, trainer He’s been very impressive in his races this year but whether he will continue to top the rankings will depend on what happens in the coming months. There are quite a few top-class horses around and it’s anyone’s guess who will be rated the best come the end of the season.
