Joseph O'Brien, Colin Keane and Shane Foley the hardest workers
Joseph O'Brien was out on his own in terms of runners in the second quarter of 2019 with the 26-year-old sending out 425 runners from his Owning Hill base in County Kilkenny, which was 93 more than Gordon Elliott saddled in the same three-month period.
Elliott finished a clear second, with his 332 runners 71 more than Jessica Harrington (261) ran between April and June, while Aidan O'Brien (254), Denis Hogan (241) and Willie Mullins (211) were also well represented.
Bar Ryan Moore, Colin Keane is the only jockey to have surpassed the €1m prize-money marker this season and the former champion rider, who has ridden winners on 15 per cent of his mounts this season, was also the joint-busiest alongside Shane Foley in the second quarter with the pair having ridden in 274 races each.
