'It's a great celebration of the year's racing and it's an honour to be part of'
Jim Crowley, David Egan and Robert Winston discuss this week's topics
Cracksman v Enable – who do you think would win if they met and why?
Jim Crowley, jockey
That’s a difficult one as I have been very impressed by Cracksman throughout the year as he has matured and got quicker, while Enable is obviously an outstanding filly – hence they avoided each other in the Arc. I am sure, though, there will be a time when they meet and it will probably be in the King George or the Arc.
David Egan, champion apprentice
They are both unbelievable horses and have achieved so much this season. It would definitely be a great battle of champions if they were to meet. I would have to side with whatever was Frankie Dettori’s pick!
Willie McCreery, trainer
A tough one to start with. Cracksman was very good in the Champion Stakes. He has a patient pedigree and has been patiently trained. He’s only coming to himself now. It’s a very difficult call to make but Enable will be a stronger filly next year and I’d have slight preference for her if they meet. Enable by half a length.
