‘You have to deliver with these opportunities - it’s pressure’ - Colin Keane on scrutiny, social media and a massive week with Juddmonte’s A-listers

This is what pundit Steve Mellish had to say on Racing TV after the Yorkshire Oaks: "Colin Keane is a top-class jockey but, in my view, he hasn't ridden Kalpana right once this year. She's almost better than he thinks she is. It's ludicrous to say, because he's won two Group 1s, but I honestly don't think he has ridden her correctly once this year."

So, Colin, what did you make of that? The clip that sent social media into a spin.

"That's his opinion and I have no problem with him saying it at all," Keane says with a smile. "To be perfectly honest, though, the one day I did think I got it right on her was in the King George. I'm not sure I did anything wrong on her that day.
