What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Take care of your family, work hard, choose your friends well, keep dreaming and believe in those dreams.
What is your earliest racing memory?
Watching my father’s horse Graal De Chalamont win the Prix du President de la Republique at Auteuil in 2000. I was eight and it’s a memory I cherish.
How much of a thrill was it to win the Arc on Waldgeist this year and what are your memories of the day?
Winning the Arc is the absolute dream of dreams and especially with a horse I have ridden every day in the morning for years. Waldgeist has become my best friend since he was a two-year-old and I owe him a lot. My main memory of the day will remain this very special moment of eternity just after the winning line where there was just Waldgeist, my father and myself.
