When Roger Teal left Newmarket after watching Tip Two Win finish second in the 2018 2,000 Guineas he feared he may never have a better chance to win the Classic. Then Kenzai Warrior came along.

The trainer is fully aware of the challenge facing his stable star at Newmarket on Saturday when he lines up alongside short-priced favourite Pinatubo, but he would not trade him for any of his rivals.

Teal has made a strong start to the season and landed the Group 3 Abernant Stakes with promising sprinter Oxted on Friday.
