'I've only got the Oaks left' - how Frankly Darling could cap an amazing career

The owner-breeder speaks to Jonathan Harding about his Epsom contender

Anthony Oppenheimer's ambition of breeding a winner of each British Classic could be realised on Saturday when his impressive Royal Ascot winner Frankly Darling takes her chance in the Investec Oaks.

His familiar black, white and red silks were first carried to Classic glory in the 1982 1,000 Guineas by On The House for his late father Sir Philip, who purchased Hascombe and Valiant Stud in 1965.

Oppenheimer became a partner in the operation in 1974 and was propelled by his desire to win the Derby, which he finally achieved when the indomitable Golden Horn bolted up at Epsom in 2015.
