Anthony Honeyball is a man in demand.

If it were not enough managing the usual rigmaroles of riding lots, farrier visits and the paperwork demands of a typical midweek morning, the BHA has also decided to grace Potwell Farm with a surprise visit.

A squad of stable inspectors armed with thick coats and clipboards are busying their way around the premises under the supervision of assistant Charles Foot, casting their watchful gaze over every horse and inch of the Dorset yard. No corner of the operation is going unchecked, which may be a compliment to British racing's integrity standards but is no help to the staff trying to get through a long list of early tasks.
