5th, 2m½f mares' maiden hurdle, Roscommon, July 11
This was a decent mares' maiden hurdle and one or two winners look likely to emerge from it. This unraced daughter of Beneficial was probably the biggest eyecatcher.
Racing towards the rear and never really in with a shout, she began to stay as they exited the back straight and the further they went the stronger she galloped.
She wasn't quite on top of the principals at the line, but being beaten 15 lengths in a contest such as this was certainly laudable. She continued to make ground to the line and it looks like she will be well suited by at least 2m4f. She is an interesting mare and one who can be expected to progress.
