Would you rather win the Cheltenham Gold Cup or be champion jockey?
It's a tough one! I think I'd prefer to be champion jockey. I think it's more prestigious.

What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
To be more patient. When I started out in racing I was always chopping and changing jobs when a bit of continuity would have helped.

If you could play any other sport professionally, which would it be and why?
It would have to be football. You get great wages for a lesser risk! I had a couple of trials with Sheffield United and Charlton Athletic when they were both in the Premier League.
