'I love young horses who keep winning and we'll be hearing about him for years'
How serious a player do you think Greanateen will be at Grade 1 level next season?
Charles Hitchings, Sporting Index He’ll have a big say at Grade 1 level. He’s gradually improved with every run and now looks like the real deal. Shishkin and Energumene are daunting prospects in the two-mile division, but he would also have the option of stepping up in trip and I’m sure he will be knocking on the door at Cheltenham.
Andrew Lynch, breeze-up consignor Bryony Frost gave him a good ride but I thought the race fell apart. Altior took everything out of its comfort zone and there was a bit of a collapse at the end with nothing getting into it from off the pace, but it was a typical end-of-season performance. I’d question if he is a genuine top-notcher.
Tom Malone, bloodstock agent He seems to have improved again this season and this is where Paul Nicholls excels, in getting them to improve year on year as they strengthen. He'll be only 4-5lb off the top two-miler next season and, being only seven, there’s every chance he could make into another top two-mile chaser for the yard.
