'I definitely think he could back up' - Stuart Edmunds joins the panel
Jody McGarvey, Sean O'Keeffe and Dan Skelton also give their views
Does Minella Times have the look of a multiple Grand National winner?
Stuart Edmunds, trainer I think he could be because off his winning mark of 146 he could creep up the weights and still be a contender. He was proper and I definitely think he could back up.
Padraig Hassett, BoyleSports Tiger Roll is the only horse since Red Rum to back up National victories so history is against him. His jumping, a huge asset around there even if it’s not the test it once was, was electric. The handicapper will have his say and it’s going to be difficult, but with those connections nothing is impossible.
Jody McGarvey, jockey I think he does. He got a great run around but he jumped fantastic and never missed a beat. He was in the box seat all the way with a lovely, clear run and it would have taken a lot to beat him. He was a deserving winner.
