'He's the one they all have to beat' - Henrietta Knight picks her ten to follow
I think when putting together a list of horses you should make sure you cover as many areas as you can, which is why Ashroe Diamond is my first pick.
She was brilliant when winning at Aintree on her final start last season and she should be one to take high rank in the Mares' Novice Hurdle this season. There are a lot of opportunities for a horse like her now.

There are going to be a lot of Irish-trained horses in my team, many of them trained by Willie Mullins, who has done so brilliantly in the big races. That comment particularly applies to Allaho, who looks sure to go back for a third Ryanair Chase, which he will likely win again.
I love A Plus Tard, so he has to be a selection as well. He is such a gorgeous horse and is going to be the one they all have to beat in those top staying chases throughout the season.
I know Gordon Elliott thinks a lot of American Mike, so he is one I'm looking forward to seeing in novice hurdles. His debut over hurdles at Down Royal was more workmanlike than flashy, but he did not have much to beat and was well on top in the end.
In the Champion Hurdle division, I am going to have to put inConstitution Hill as a banker. It was a really tough call between him and Vauban, who I was impressed with last season and think will be better still over the months ahead, but I just don't think you can go against Constitution Hill.
In the Champion Chase division, I am going to side withEnergumene over Shishkin and others. He was brilliant at Cheltenham and Punchestown, so is the horse they all have to beat.
The same applies to Facile Vega, who is going to be fascinating to watch in novice hurdles. It's not that often a horse lives up to the hype and the breeding he has, but so far he has been flawless.
No team I select would be complete without Galopin Des Champs, who is my favourite horse in training. He's gorgeous and has the most lovely eye too. He has so much scope and I just love the way he jumps too. I think he can be top-class over a variety of distances.
The last two horses I want to include as Lossiemouth, a talented filly trained in France who could be just the sort for the Triumph Hurdle, and Minella Cocooner, who has a big future in novice chases.
