There are not many five-furlong maidens left for juveniles this season, which may be why this Naas contest was so competitive. The form of the race has not been tested yet but there is little question this filly by Exceed And Excel ran with considerable promise.

She was difficult to restrain for much of the way but she made sustained headway and saw out the race strongly. She seems to possess some speed and will get an extra furlong, so she should be at least capable of winning a maiden.
