Great news. The River Severn has returned to where it should be from its second home on Worcester racecourse and they’re jumping again.

The thing about jumping is that it involves the horse you’ve backed getting from one side of the obstacle to the other without destroying your hopes and making you feel that you’re just unluckier than everyone else.

On the other hand, it’s lucky that horses have four legs rather than
two or six, or the whole thing would become ridiculous.
