What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
If you want to do something, do it. Don’t let anyone stop you.
If you could play any other sport professionally, which would it be and why?
It would have to be showjumping as I enjoy doing that quite a bit in the summer as a hobby. I’ve got a horse called Fireball – he’s a German-bred and a lot better at it than I am.
What do you think racing does best?
It brings people together, particularly in point-to-pointing, and is a great day out. What is your earliest racing memory?
Watching Best Mate win the Gold Cup in the early 2000s. Mum used to pick us up early from school during Cheltenham Festival week so that we could get back to watch the championship races.
