Gavin Cromwell, Steve Harman and Tom Symonds join the panel
Jockey Katie O'Farrell and Betfair's Ryan McCue also answer our questions
Solo ran away with the Adonis, is he your idea of the Triumph Hurdle winner? (if not, who is?)
Gavin Cromwell, trainer You couldn’t but be impressed by his performance. He skated up and if he’s in the same sort of form at Cheltenham, he’ll be difficult to beat. However, I still have a lot of respect for Henry de Bromhead’s Aspire Tower, who was very impressive on his first two starts over hurdles before falling at the last when in contention in a Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival.
Steve Harman, former BHA chairman I never have a bet in the Triumph but I was at Kempton on Saturday and he impressed his connections, who deserved the win as Johnny de la Hey puts so much into the sport. The time of the race held up well against the Kingwell and Dovecote, so he’s definitely the one to beat.
Ryan McCue, Betfair He’s now favourite in our betting, so that tells you all you need to know. He looked very good, although I wouldn’t be in love with the form. However, looking through the form of his main rivals, including Goshen, you could pick holes in their form too, so it’s not a race I’ll be getting involved in.
