Champion apprentice elect Cieren Fallon was always going to have big shoes to fill as the son of six-time British champion jockey Kieren Fallon.

The 20-year-old has made an excellent start, however, with a productive autumn seeing the claimer all but secure the apprentice championship before its conclusion on October 19.

Attached to the powerful William Haggas yard, Fallon has received ammunition from further afield as his stock has risen. His aptitude in the saddle has attracted the likes of Saeed bin Suroor, Charlie Hills and Hugo Palmer to utilise his claim.
