This homebred son of Lope De Vega comes from a good family with plenty of stamina, including winners like Midnight Soprano and Celtic Soprano who carried the same colours with distinction.

This colt probably has a bit more speed than those relatives and ran with plenty of promise on this debut. He showed plenty of dash to lie up with the early pace and was still bang there with a shot in the straight when he was squeezed up on the inner. That was his chance gone but when he regained his momentum he kept running on under hands and heels.
