This four-year-old French-bred has a big engine as he won a Listed bumper on heavy ground at Cheltenham in January and was beaten only two and three-quarter lengths on this hurdling debut despite a lack of experience counting against him as his jumping was deliberate at times. He seemed to handle this good ground but acts on testing going and as he hones his craft he should improve.
