Stephane Pasquier has been at the very top of the tree in the French weighing room for well over a decade and has enjoyed a career marked by success for some of the top owner-breeders in racing.

Since the moment he deputised for Olivier Peslier aboard Westerner in the 2004 Prix Royal-Oak, Pasquier has been a go-to man and has forged several successful long-term relationships. He has been the Niarchos family's retained jockey in France since 2010.

Now 39, Pasquier brought the famous two-tone blue silks home in front at Chantilly in June as Senga became the fourth Niarchos filly to triumph in the Diane.
