A new front is opening up in the gambling battleground with the entry of media companies and sports streaming services into the sector.

Last week DAZN – pronounced 'Da Zone' – became the latest such company to announce plans to create a betting offering through the creation of DAZN BET in partnership with betting and gaming supplier Pragmatic Group.

Then on Monday the new operator announced that the highly regarded Mark Kemp would be its chief executive.
