What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Travel more.

What is your earliest racing memory?
Tancred Sand was going for the Ebor when I was about five. I made him a good luck card and everything. He didn’t run in the end.

This is your first full season – what do you hope to have achieved by the end of it?
I wanted to beat last season’s tally. That’s done as we had only three winners then – a bumper, a hurdle and a chase, which I thought summed the yard up well. As it’s our first full season I haven’t set targets apart from that. I wouldn’t say no to another Grade 1 or a Cheltenham winner, though.
