'He's an exciting sprinter - and Saturday's race has been the plan all winter'

It's a great week to be resuming my column as several of my best horses are launching their seasons over the next few days.

We've been planning all winter to start off in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket, a race he was a close second in last year before going on to win at Sandown.

He's sound again after injury and is an exciting sprinter for this season – the King's Stand Stakes at Ascot is the race I'm working back from, with the Temple Stakes his likely next target after Saturday.
