Awesome autumn yielding rich harvest as golfers bring home the gold

What is your favourite season? Four options – which one is best? I bet the vast majority of you go for summer – summer has always been so ruddy popular – but I am very much an autumn man. Give me an autumn over a summer any day of the week.
I just took a wonderful stroll and came to the conclusion that autumn is the king of seasons. Not too hot, not too cold. As Goldilocks said when she found the perfect porridge at the house of the three bears – it is just right.
A red admiral fluttered past my eyes as I walked, some sparrows were cavorting among conkers on the path in front of me, and a murder of crows were thrusting powerfully up above. I was mesmerised by these creatures going about their business amid awesome autumn. I literally gasped.
