5th, 2m4f bumper, Roscommon, May 8
A son of Definite Article, he was having just his third run in a bumper when stepping up in trip at Roscommon. He had not shown a lot in two bumpers last year over 2m but his Roscommon effort suggests he needs a trip.
Held up at the back of the field, he was struggling to make any impression turning out of the back straight but he got going eventually and in the last furlong or so nothing was staying on more strongly. He's probably not the type to win a bumper but he can easily step up in trip in a maiden hurdle on good ground, which will probably suit him best.
