This year's annual T20 cricket match at Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday, between a Lord March Racing XI and the Lord's Taverners, will honour late award-winning journalist Alan Lee, who covered cricket and then racing for The Times.

Lord March says: "Alan Lee was a huge supporter of Goodwood and obviously loved his cricket both personally and professionally. He will be hugely missed by everyone who knew him, and in terms of the cricket he was always spotted on the boundary chatting to the players.

"We felt that the Alan Lee Memorial Trophy was an appropriate way of remembering him, and we are delighted that his children Vicky and James will be our guests for racing and will present the trophy."
